SUMMARY: The Account Executive is responsible for enthusiastically finding business and maintaining customer relationships for the preservation and expansion of our customer base. The Account Executive must also ensure there are long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction by being a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Conduct the required number of sales presentations per week to new and existing customers
  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of YESCO products & services while on-site
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue by cold-calling if necessary
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the Company in a positive manner
  • Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner
  • Access marketing data using applicable sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Interacts with small and large businesses that need identification
  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing preferred
  • 3-5 years of direct work experience in an external sales capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
  • Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Previous sign experience preferred and which include a working knowledge of the materials and finishes used in construction
  • Understanding of local codes associated with on-premise advertising

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Past experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,035.39 - $74,709.29 per year
